Consumer Technology Specialist
Stephanie Yang advises emerging technology startups on strategic communications and messaging during their early-stage growth. With over a decade of digital marketing experience working at brands including Warner Bros. Pictures, MySpace and New Line Cinema, Stephanie continues to get excited about how consumer brands intersect with technology to surprise and delight audiences. Her current and past clients include IGN, Spendgo, Heat Advertising and Podo.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant in 2013, Stephanie led marketing at global ad agencies including AKQA and Fantasy Interactive helping brands like Audi, Gap and Nike win in the digital age. Previously, Offermatica was the first technology startup she worked at managing their fast-growth press profile leading to a $65MM company acquisition to the web analytics company Omniture (aka Adobe Systems).
Stephanie is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Political Science. She is on the leadership team of the non-profit organization Women in Wireless and is a frequent guest speaker for the San Francisco chapter. In her spare time, she also runs her own fashion blog and takes an inordinate amount of Instagram photos.
